Our buttons are hand dyed to match each colourway and made from either Codelite® or Corozo.
Codelite is derived from casein which is the protein element naturally occurring in milk. This early alternative to plastic was first produced in the UK as far back as 1910 at a factory in Stroud, Gloucestershire.
Corozo is derived from the nut of the Tagua Palm which grows in the equatorial rainforests of central America.
Codelite and Corozo buttons are 100% biodegradable and a sustainable alternative to plastic buttons.
